During my sophomore year in college...
I was invited to work on the editorial documentation of RIT's eighth Metaproject, a course offered to industrial design seniors taught by Josh Owen. In the fall semester of 2017, Professor Josh Owen challenged seventeen students to redesign dinning. As part of the Industrial Design course Chuck Cerankosky, owner of the restaurant Good Luck, collaborated with the students to create a pop-up dinning experience in his restaurant.
There were four courses to the meal. Each course took guests through the four seasons through taste, sound, light, and touch. I wanted the book to honor the design decisions the students had made for this experience, so I used color to reflect the lighting used for each course.
